About the author

Stories with dirt under their nails.

Matt Scott writes blue-collar speculative fiction—ordinary people, hard choices, and monsters waiting just outside the light.

He is the author of more than 120 published short horror stories and five stand-alone collections of tiny terrors. Matt holds a bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University and lives in southern Colorado with his wife, Heather.

When he isn’t writing, he hikes and photographs the outdoors, plays piano, paints, and competitively throws knives.
